Kathmandu – The National Human RightsCommission has requested Rabi Kiran Hamal toattend a discussion for the purpose of investigatingthe human and material damage caused during the protests held on Bhadra 23 and 24 , 2082 .
The Commission has sent a letter to the CentralOffice of the Commission at Harihar Bhawan , Pulchowk , stating that it is studying the incidentthrough an investigation committee formed under the coordination of Honorable Member Dr. Lilly Thapa , and requesting that the Commission attend a discussion at 11 am on Bhadra 30 , 2082 .
The commission stated that the purpose of the discussion is to obtain information about the treatment , relief , and compensation of those injuredduring the protests , as well as initiatives taken by the state and concerned bodies .
Hamal has said that he will appear before the Human Rights Commission and present his case .
